About

Tracey Reed - End of Life Doula

Tracey studied with Merilynne Rush and is certified by The Dying Year and the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance. She has a deep passion for providing compassionate, holistic support to families and individuals navigating the final stages of life.  She has an understanding of the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of dying.  She is dedicated to ensuring that each person's journey is peaceful, dignified, and meaningful as possible.

Tracey continues to develop her skills by studying with and attending spiritual tours led by Laura Giles.  While on a tour with Laura in Cornwall, UK, Tracey recognized the profound need for "soul tending" and decided she wanted to offer this to her community.  She focuses on providing personalized care that nurtures not only the body but also the heart and spirit.  Whether through comforting presence, active listening, holding space for forgiveness, or guiding families through the emotional complexities of loss, she believes that a sacred and supportive environment is essential during this time of transition.

With a strong belief in the importance of community care and connection, Tracey is committed to raising awareness about the role of End-of-Life Doulas and fostering conversations about death, grief, and the beauty of life's final chapter.  Through her work in Gloucester, Virginia, she aims to create spaces where people can find peace, honor their loved ones, and heal in ways that serve their hearts and souls.
